10 movies to watch with your child in 2017

Movies  can be really fun to watch, especially alongside your children. Be it sci-fi or animation movies, there are some brilliant movies that are worth enjoying with the children both at home and in the cinema. In fact, there are dozens of movies being released this year to entertain both children and adults. Here are 10 interesting movies which you can enjoy watching with your child in 2017:

1. The Little Prince

This movie is based on the story written for the children by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. This is a wonderful stop-motion animation film, which features a young girl living with her mother and trying to make sense of the world around her.

2. Open Season: Scared Silly

Yet another interesting movie from Sony Pictures Animation. This is the fourth feature length film with full of fun-loving series. This film casts Elliot, one-antlered mule deer, Boog his best friend the bear and other woodland friends.

3. Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday

Pee-Wee Herman, known popularly from 80s television and film series, Paul Reubens is now back to give a wonderful story to entertain children and others. The story casts strange turtle.

4. Captain Underpants

This kids’ movie from the book series, having the two mischievous kids George Beard and Harold Hutchins, along with Captain Underpants. Released in January 2017, the movie adaptation was acquired by Dreamworks Animation.

5. Cars 3

This animation movie is set to release in 2017 and is the third instalment in Cars franchise. It stars  Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen.

6. Blazing Samurai

Set to release in August 2017, Blazing Samurai is a computer-animated action comedy starring  Michael Cera, Samuel L. Jackson, Michelle Yeoh,  and other leading stars. It is a story about young dog Hank dreams  of becoming a samurai and fights to save the town called “Kakamucho”.

7. Coco

This is a 3D animated movie featuring a 12- year old boy. This film is about an extraordinary family reunion story.

8. Meet the small Potatoes

This film is a spin-off of the British animated TV series, Small Potatoes. It features catchy songs, which ever kid will love to sing along.

9. The Tooth Fairy

This 2010 fantasy comedy family movie stars  Dwayne Johnson, Stephen Merchant, Ashley Judd, and Julie Andrews. It is a must watch to enjoy some tickling comedy from its star cast.

10. Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

This 2014 fantasy movie can be watched again and again with your kid to enjoy some adventure actions. It has an interesting plot where Larry (Ben Stiller), the protagonist finds himself out of the job after an exhibition at Planetarium.
