Over the last 4 to 5 years I have learnt a lot about photography. You could say that you pick stuff up as you Go. Landscape photography is far easier than portrait photography, as your subject and background are fixed.

I use manual mode for indoor/studio photography and Nighttime long exposure shots. I tend to use Aperture priority in sunny and outdoor daytime photos.
